The idea behind the club is to get children involved in enhancing their School environment and to learn about the links between plants and the animal kingdom. It’s also a good excuse to get nice and muddy!
The children have taken part in making bird feeders, planting bulbs and seeds. They have helped maintain the garden at the front of the School and prepared some tyres for planting potatoes. Hopefully if the produce grows well we will be selling it to Parents.
Amongst other things the subs for the club have purchased:
- Hanging basket brackets and plants
- Gardening tools
- Bird Seed
- Tomato plants
- And most importantly biscuits!
The club is run by Mrs Hall and Mrs Chambers and takes place on a Wednesday 3.20-4.20pm at a Cost of £5 per term. So far each term has been oversubscribed. If you wish to be put on the waiting list for next term please contact the School Office.
