We have close links with Blakesley Pre-School, which is situated in the village hall a few minutes’ walk from our school.

Each year we share celebrations and events for the school and pre-school children to enjoy and participate in. We work together closely to ensure the smooth transition of our children as they leave the pre-school to join our Reception class.

In preparation for starting in Reception at Blakesley, we run a series of ‘Rising 5’s’ session during the Summer Term. These are hugely successful in helping the children to become familiar with the School’s routines and expectations, providing the opportunity for the children and their parents to meet older pupils and get to know the staff.
